Municipal signs warn motorcyclists

Albany, N.Y. city ordinance forbids unneccesary bike noise

Dear fellow questors for peace and quiet,

Following are the photos of the flashing banner sign I saw on Lark Street in Albany NY yesterday, warning motorcyclists about needlessly loud machines. Kudos!!!

Thank you, Mr. Mayor, Common Council, Police, and any other officials for programming the signs and placing them in a high-visibility area! Keep up the great work, and thank you, thank you for your understanding of those of us rightfully longing for a much quieter world.

I hope to very soon see similar signs placed on Delaware Avenue and/or Kenwood Avenue in Delmar, in the town of Bethlehem where I live.
