Most of the Uk legislation assumes that night time is from 2300 to 0700. This
applies to neighbour noise, pubs and clubs etc. Does anyone know where this
time came from and what it is based upon? I know that there are other noise
indicies in other countries which take 2200 as the onset of night.

any other information?
